Hi, I'm Darian

she/her

MA, MSW, PMP®

I’ve always been drawn to helping people, but my career path wasn’t a straight line. It was a journey of discovering where I could make the most impact.

I began in frontline social services as a youth and child welfare support worker, where I saw firsthand that real change meant addressing systems, not just individuals. This led me to pursue master’s degrees in both Women & Gender Studies (Carleton University) and Social Work (Wilfrid Laurier University). Along the way, I worked in research, grant writing, and mentoring social work students, always gravitating toward creating structured, efficient systems that helped teams work better together.

Through years of experience in project management, research coordination, and community work, I noticed a common theme: I thrive at bringing order to chaos.  I found myself naturally drawn to fixing inefficiencies that slowed people down.

Now, I channel this passion into helping social service organizations work smarter, not harder. I know firsthand how overworked and under-resourced many agencies are. And I understand the frustration of spending more time wrestling with disorganized systems than actually helping people. My goal is to take that weight off your shoulders, so you can get back to the work that fuels you.

I believe in practical solutions that actually make sense for the people using them. I bring a mix of strategic thinking, hands-on experience, and deep respect for the realities of frontline work.

At the heart of it all, I care about making work easier for the people who are doing the hardest jobs. If you’ve ever thought, “There has to be a better way to do this”. That’s where I come in.
